Information day for the Job ,,Industial Mechanic'' / 19th May 2015

GRUENSFELD. On Saturday 9th May 2015, BOHLENDER GmbH opened its door for young people, who are in their career orientation period or just want to catch up information on the job of an „Industrial Mechanic“.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., training manager Uwe Hossfeld answered questions of young people and their parents, everything that concerned the apprenticeship such as duration, preconditions, procedure etc. Five apprentices allowed those young people to gain an impression of the daily work of an Industrial Mechanic. They reported from their experience during their apprenticeship. The young visitors could watch the production process of high-performance fluoroplastic labware on CNC lathes. They have seen how milling, turning and drilling machines are set up, operated and controlled. The CNC milling center was of great interest as the young visitors could engrave their names into a plate under survey of the apprentices. Furthermore, one of the apprentices being in his second year of apprenticeship showed his work which he had produced in his interim audit some weeks before.

At the end of the visit, every adolescent received a BOHLENDER-bag containing information material.
